- Quick Actions (Right sidebar)
Let's dive into each section!
Section 1: Quick Stats Cards
At the top of your dashboard, you'll see 4-6 colorful cards showing your key metrics at a glance.
Total Sales (This Month)
What it shows: Your total revenue for the current month
Example: "MARKDOWN; } },247.50"
Why it matters: This is your gross revenue before platform fees and payouts. Track this to see if you're hitting your monthly goals!
Pro Tip 💡: Click on this card to see a detailed breakdown by day, week, or month.
Total Orders (This Month)
What it shows: Number of orders you've received this month
Example: "23 orders"
Why it matters: More orders = more customers finding your products! Track this alongside your sales to understand your average order value.
Calculation: Total Sales ÷ Total Orders = Average Order Value
Pending Orders
What it shows: Orders waiting to be fulfilled
Example: "5 pending"
Why it matters: These need your attention! Buyers are waiting for you to process and ship their orders.
Action Required: Click this card to go directly to your pending orders and start fulfilling them.
Pro Tip 💡: Try to fulfill orders within 24-48 hours for the best customer experience!
Active Products
What it shows: Number of products currently visible in your shop
Example: "12 active products"
Why it matters: More products = more chances for sales! If this number is low, consider adding more products.
Inactive Products: You'll also see how many products are deactivated (hidden from your shop).
Shop Views (This Month)
What it shows: How many people visited your shop this month
Example: "342 views"
Why it matters: Views show how much traffic you're getting. More views = more potential customers!
Low views? You might need to:
- Improve your product titles and tags (SEO)
- Share your shop on social media
- Enable affiliate marketing
Conversion Rate
What it shows: Percentage of shop visitors who made a purchase
Example: "6.7%"
Why it matters: This shows how effective your shop is at converting browsers into buyers.
Calculation: (Total Orders ÷ Shop Views) × 100
Good conversion rates:
- 2-4%: Average
- 5-7%: Good
- 8%+: Excellent!
Low conversion rate? Consider:
- Improving product images
- Lowering prices
- Writing better descriptions
- Adding customer reviews

- Flat line: Sales are steady
- Downward trend: Time to improve your marketing 📉
Example insights:
- "Sales spike on weekends" → Focus marketing on Fridays
- "Sales drop in summer" → Your products might be seasonal
- "Steady growth" → Keep doing what you're doing!
Orders Chart
What it shows: Number of orders over time
Why separate from sales?: This shows customer volume, not just revenue. You might have fewer orders but higher sales (expensive items) or more orders but lower sales (cheap items).
What to look for:
- Consistent order volume = reliable business
- Increasing orders = growing customer base
- Decreasing orders = need to improve marketing
Traffic Chart
What it shows: Shop visits over time
Why it matters: Traffic is the top of your sales funnel. More traffic = more potential customers.
Compare with orders:
- High traffic, low orders = conversion problem (improve product pages)
- Low traffic, good orders = marketing problem (need more visitors)
Top Products Chart
What it shows: Your best-selling products
Displays:
- Product name
- Number of sales
- Total revenue
- Percentage of total sales
How to use this:
- Promote your winners: Feature top products on your shop homepage
- Learn from success: What makes these products sell well? Apply those lessons to other products
- Stock up: Make sure your best sellers are always in stock

Q: When does the dashboard update?
A: Most metrics update in real-time or within a few minutes. Sales and order data updates immediately. Traffic data may take up to an hour.
Q: Can I see data from previous months?
A: Yes! Use the date range selector on the performance charts to view historical data. You can go back up to 12 months.
Q: What's a good conversion rate?
A: For e-commerce, 2-4% is average, 5-7% is good, and 8%+ is excellent. Don't worry if you're lower when starting out - it improves as you optimize your shop!
Q: How often should I check my dashboard?
A: Check at least once daily to stay on top of orders and messages. More frequent checks are fine, but don't obsess over every metric!
